Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher and then repairing a broken object. The difficulty lies in identifying a broken item. A simpler method is to repeatedly use an item until it breaks.
The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive choice. Using it approximately a dozen times will cause it to malfunction, thus fulfilling the "broken object" requirement. This can be done by your Sim or by inviting guests to use it.
