Pokémon Go February Community Day: Karrablast and Shelmet
This Community Day features the dual bug-type Pokémon, Karrablast and Shelmet. Prepare for increased wild spawns of both, boosting your chances of catching these critters, including their shiny variants!
The real highlight? Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the equally impressive Energy Ball (90 power in all battle types).
A special research taskline awaits, rewarding encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet showcasing special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, plus a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. A Timed Research event follows, running for a week after the main event. Simply log in during Community Day to unlock tasks offering more encounters with these special background Karrablast and Shelmet.
