Clash of Clans, an iconic slice of mobile gaming history, is about to undergo a significant transformation that will shake up its core mechanics. Supercell, understanding the need to modernize the game, is set to remove troop, spell, and siege unit training times entirely. This monumental change means you'll be able to deploy your army almost instantly, getting you into the thick of battle faster than ever before.
Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training times marks another major shift in gameplay. However, with this update, it's crucial to act quickly regarding your existing resources. As of today, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available through in-app purchases or chest rewards. You can still acquire them via the Trader and Gold Pass for now, but remember, it's use them or lose them. At the end of the month, any remaining potions and treats will be converted to Gems.
To help you adapt to these changes, Supercell is introducing a new feature called "Match Anytime." This allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real-time opponents are available. You'll still earn rewards, but players whose bases are used won't lose anything if defeated. This mechanic, already used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now be a standard feature.
Keep an eye out for additional changes, such as Army Donations now requiring Elixirs or Dark Elixirs. For a comprehensive overview of all the updates, head over to the Supercell blog.
