In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, food poisoning can be a serious threat. This guide explains how to cure it and prevent it in the future.
Curing Food Poisoning
The only cure for food poisoning is a digestive potion. You can purchase these from most apothecaries, including those in Troskowitz, Trosky Castle, and the Nomads' Camp. They're relatively inexpensive.
Alternatively, learn the recipe and brew your own. This is a more cost-effective long-term solution. The recipe requires two thistles, two nettles, water, and one charcoal. The brewing process involves boiling the thistles in water, adding the ground nettles, and finally, the ground charcoal before pouring the potion. Note: Bozhena's hut offers a peaceful alchemy station; using others may anger shopkeepers.
Preventing Food Poisoning
To avoid food poisoning, only consume food with a white "Freshness" meter in your inventory. Red indicates a high risk of food poisoning. Consider perks that slow food spoilage, or preserve food by cooking or drying.
