All-Star Superman, often hailed as one of the greatest Superman stories ever told, is set to captivate fans once again through a new medium. DC and Penguin Random House are collaborating to bring this iconic tale to life as a full-cast audiobook. This adaptation, penned by Meghan Fitzmartin, is based on the original work by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, with Quitely contributing a fresh cover illustration for the audiobook.

In All-Star Superman, we follow Superman, also known as Kal-El, in a standalone universe where he faces his mortality after a near-fatal encounter with the sun. The narrative unfolds as Superman discloses his secret identity to Lois Lane and embarks on a series of heroic challenges reminiscent of the 12 Labors of Hercules. The story culminates in a final confrontation with his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

The All-Star Superman audiobook is scheduled for release on June 24, 2025, just one month before the theatrical debut of James Gunn's Superman film.Previously, All-Star Superman was adapted into an animated movie in 2011, further showcasing its enduring appeal across different formats.
