Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.2 update, titled 'Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,' is set to launch on April 9th, bringing with it an array of new content, including fresh lore, epic battles, and new characters. As the game approaches its two-year anniversary, HoYoVerse is also planning a series of special events and giveaways to celebrate this milestone.
What's in Store in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2?
Version 3.2 introduces two new 5-star characters: Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Castorice, a Chrysos Heir, carries a tragic backstory and formidable abilities, driven by her quest to recover the lost Coreflame of Death with her Netherwing. Anaxa, a scholar from the Grove of Epiphany, offers a different dynamic with his dark experiences shaping his worldview. His Ultimate, Sublimation, can apply seven Weaknesses to all enemies simultaneously, showcasing his scholarly might.
Fans can also look forward to the return of familiar characters. The first half of the update features reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron, while Dr. Ratio makes a comeback in the second half. Additionally, HoYoverse has teased upcoming balance adjustments in Version 3.4 for characters like Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu, although details are yet to be revealed. The Story This Time Is Heading to Styxia
The narrative journey in Version 3.2 takes players to Styxia, a forgotten city submerged beneath the Sea of Souls, known for its dragon bones and haunting spirits. Players will navigate this mysterious locale with Castorice, delving into the secrets of the Titans and the cataclysmic draconic event that devastated the city.
In celebration of the game's two-year anniversary, HoYoVerse is offering 20 free pulls for simply logging in. On the anniversary day, April 26th, players will receive 1,600 Stellar Jades and a special in-game card from a companion. Additionally, players can choose between a free 5-star character, Ruan Mei or Luocha.
