Back in 2019, King of Crabs captured players' hearts with its quirky battle royale concept featuring crustacean combat. Developer Robot Squid is now revamping the formula with something grander: King of Crabs - Invasion introduces strategic warfare to the crab battlefield.
From Chaotic Crab Royale to Tactical Crustacean Conflict
The sequel transforms the gameplay completely. Rather than joining 99 other players in aquatic free-for-all mayhem, Invasion adopts real-time strategy mechanics - effectively converting the original concept into a compact RTS experience.
While you still command crab armies like before, the approach differs fundamentally. Instead of scavenging weapons and consuming smaller creatures to grow, you'll strategically position units along linear battlefronts.
Players gain access to diverse units including standard crab infantry, siege catapults, and armored crustaceans wielding massive maces. Matches revolve around outmaneuvering opponents before they overrun your defenses, with dynamic maps introducing unpredictable environmental hazards.
