Lies of P's captivating world expands with a prequel DLC: Overture.
Revealed during Sony's State of Play 2025 showcase, Lies of P: Overture launches Summer 2025 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. A gameplay trailer is available below.
Building upon the critically acclaimed single-player action RPG, Lies of P (IGN awarded it an 8/10), Overture delves into the origins of the Puppet Frenzy. It reimagines the Pinocchio tale within a Bloodborne-esque setting, offering intense, soulslike combat.
Lies of P: Overture – A Deep Dive
Overture serves as a dramatic prequel, transporting players to Krat, a city in its twilight hours, showcasing the Belle Époque era's haunting beauty before the Puppet Frenzy. Players assume the role of Geppetto's puppet, guided by a mysterious Legendary Stalker, Lea, uncovering untold stories and chilling secrets.

Round8 Studio's Game Director, Jiwon Choi, stated, "Lies of P: Overture lets us fully explore the past and present of our universe."
Publisher Neowiz previously hinted at this DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. The original Lies of P achieved remarkable success, selling over one million copies within a month of its September 18, 2023 release.
