Marvel Snap's Sanctum Showdown: A New Limited-Time Mode

Get ready for a spellbinding battle in Marvel Snap's new limited-time mode, Sanctum Showdown! Running until March 11th, this mode introduces a unique twist on the classic gameplay.

New Rules, New Rewards:

  • First to 16 Points Wins: Forget turn six; victory goes to the player who first accumulates 16 points.
  • The Sanctum Location: This pivotal location awards the most points each turn, making it a key strategic element.
  • Dynamic Snapping: Starting on turn three, players can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's point value, creating constant shifts in momentum.
  • Scroll-Based Entry: Each match costs one Scroll, but winning earns you another. You begin with 12 Scrolls, replenishing by two every eight hours. Additional Scrolls can be purchased for 40 Gold.
  • Sorcerer Rank and Charms: Every match, win or lose, contributes to your Sorcerer Rank and earns you Charms, redeemable in the Sanctum Shop for cosmetic items and new cards.

Strategic Considerations:

To maintain fairness, certain cards and locations are banned in Sanctum Showdown. Abilities affecting final scores are disabled, and cards like Debrii are removed to prevent overly dominant strategies. Popular choices like Captain Marvel and Dracula won't be effective here.

Exclusive Card Acquisition:

This mode offers a unique opportunity to acquire Laufey, Gorgon, and Uncle Ben before their arrival in the Token Shop on March 13th. Participate in Portal Pulls for a chance to unlock these cards and potentially up to four additional Series 4 or 5 cards for free.

Don't Miss Out:

Sanctum Showdown ends on March 11th. Prepare your deck, strategize your snaps, and conquer the Sanctum for exclusive rewards! Visit the official Marvel Snap website for further details.
