Minecraft Movie: Exclusive Popcorn Bucket Unveiled

Author : Victoria Mar 14,2025

Remember those themed popcorn buckets that were all the rage? Get ready for another one! The upcoming Minecraft movie is jumping on the bandwagon with its own line of collectible concessions.

According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X/Twitter (see below), the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box popcorn bucket and a chicken jockey drink cup. These seem to be exclusive to Cinemark theaters in the US for now, but we'll have to wait and see what other theaters offer Minecraft fans.

This follows a trend that started with the wildly popular Rise of Skywalker R2-D2 popcorn bucket in 2019. That bucket's viral success sparked a new theatrical tradition—one that's become a bit ubiquitous, and admittedly pricey, but clearly effective at drawing audiences to the big screen. If it keeps people going to the movies, I'm all for it.

They must rely on a local named Steve (Jack Black) to navigate this new reality. Starring alongside Black are Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, Jennifer Coolidge, and Sebastian Hansen. The film hits theaters April 4, 2025.
