Com2uS has just launched a delightful new adventure game on Android called Minion Rumble. From the title alone, you can guess it's packed with charm. Picture this: you're summoning a capybara with impressive battle stats, defending against zombie-like hordes, all while casually sipping your favorite drink. That's the laid-back yet thrilling vibe Minion Rumble brings to the table!
Where Is Minion Rumble Available?
Minion Rumble is now available in the US, Canada, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. At its heart, it's a casual roguelike featuring .io-style legion battles. You take on the role of a Summoner, the captain of your squad, leading a team of Champions and Minions into battle. The game throws all sorts of quirky yet exciting scenarios at you, like teaming up a bowmaster fairy and a war-hardened shooter with a cat Champion to take down endless enemy waves.
The gameplay is designed for vertical, one-handed play, constantly mixing things up with random skill cards and Champions during your runs. This means no two builds are ever the same, so your strategy to rely on that overpowered swordmaster might not always pan out. Beyond the battles, a gear system lets you upgrade your wand, arrows, or sword as you progress. Plus, there’s an offline rewards system that keeps stacking up loot for you even when you're not playing.
There Are Some Fun Launch Events Happening Right Now
The first event, Pudding Paradise, runs until April 17th. It's a quest-and-dice event where you can earn Pudding Plates to trade for rewards, including Epic Champion Selection Chests. Then there's the Puddiebean Fusion Festival, live until April 24th, where you collect Puddiebeans from quests and fuse them into gear, some of which is S-tier. And don't forget the pre-registration rewards, which include 10,000 Gold and the Epic Champion Capyboo, a tanky and adorable unit.
Minion Rumble supports seven languages and is free to play, so you can dive into the fun on the Google Play Store. And if you're hungry for more gaming adventures, be sure to check out our coverage of another new release, MageTrain, a fast-paced, pixel art, snakelike roguelike, now available on Android.
