The Palworld x Terraria crossover has officially launched with Update v0.6.0, marking one of the most significant expansions since the game’s early access debut. This major patch introduces a wealth of new content, headlined by the highly anticipated collaboration with Re-Logic’s iconic sandbox title, Terraria.
The update brings a brand-new dungeon filled with Terraria-themed enemies, where players can gather rare materials to craft exclusive gear from the beloved 2D adventure game. Among the most exciting additions is the Moon Lord—a fearsome raid boss from Terraria—now invading Palworld as a high-difficulty challenge that demands teamwork and strategy to defeat.
Beyond the crossover, Update v0.6.0 delivers a wide array of new features and improvements. Fishing has been added, allowing players to craft rods and bait to catch fish and even discover new Pals. A salvage system lets players ride water-based Pals to scavenge valuable ores from the ocean floor, enhancing weapon upgrades. Three new island types—Tropical Islands, Iceberg Island, and Shipwreck Island—expand the world, each hosting unique Pals and exploration opportunities.
A new mission system introduces dynamic quests across the Palpagos Islands, including a special storyline with Zoe, where earning her trust leads to her joining as a playable ally. The Pal Trust mechanic deepens the bond between player and Pal: the more time spent together, the greater the stat boosts, giving even underpowered Pals a chance to shine. Players can now rest alongside their Pals after a long day of adventuring, adding a cozy touch to base life.
Treasure maps lead to hidden loot, while enemy factions now construct their own fortified bases—defended fiercely but offering rare blueprints upon successful raids. Settlements have been overhauled to feel more vibrant and lived-in, with expanded NPC interactions. The player level cap has been raised from 60 to 65, unlocking new progression potential.
New buildings enhance base functionality: the Pal Surgery Table allows for passive skill modifications and gender changes; the Fishing Pond enables relaxing base fishing; the Large Incubator speeds up egg hatching; and the Palbox Control Device lets players swap Pals remotely. Three community-voted anniversary skins—Crown Chillet, Cyber Jetragon, and Desert King Anubis—are now available for their respective Pals. Balance changes reduce the difficulty of end-game content like Pal Condensation, improve mount speeds, increase skill effectiveness, and adjust NPC rewards to align with the new mission system.
