Unlock the New "Photograph" Emote in Final Fantasy XIV!
A delightful addition to Final Fantasy XIV's social features is the brand-new "Photograph" emote, a free gift from the recent 7.18 patch, courtesy of a collaboration with Fujifilm Instax. This charming emote lets you capture Polaroid-style snapshots in Eorzea.
Unlike many emotes requiring quests or purchases, the "Photograph" emote is readily available. Simply update your game to the latest patch (7.18), and it will be in your emote menu. No level or expansion is needed!
How to Use the "Photograph" Emote:
- Access your Emote menu (located under the "Social" tab).
- Find "Photograph" under the "General" tab (it's usually towards the bottom).
- Select the emote to have your character snap a picture.
- Add it to your favorites for easy access.
Enjoy the versatility! Use it underwater, while mounted (both ground and flying), or to create fun, dynamic poses. It's a non-continuous emote, perfect for capturing those special moments.
With Patch 7.18 paving the way for the major 7.2 update (arriving late March), this new emote is a fun treat before the arrival of new dungeons, the Arcadion's return, Cosmic Exploration, and more exciting content.
