Yamada Heiando, a celebrated Japanese lacquerware maker, partnered with The Pokémon Company to create these stunning bowls. Employing traditional techniques, they've crafted bowls representing the Chinese Zodiac animals: Pikachu (Rat), Ekans (Snake), and Dragonite (Dragon).
The artisans at Yamada Heiando envision these Pokémon as "gentle guardians, watching over you and your children during dinner." Designed with babies and children in mind, the company hopes these bowls "become a cherished vessel, allowing you to share and celebrate your child's happy daily growth."
Each bowl is thoughtfully linked to a child's development: Pikachu embodies kindness, Ekans symbolizes growth, and Dragonite represents openness.
Initially released on January 17, 2025, these beautiful bowls sold out almost instantly. A second sales period begins January 31st, offering another chance to purchase. Please note: a limit of two bowls per person applies.
Each set costs 16,500 JPY (approximately $105 USD). International shipping is available, with additional charges depending on packaging size, peak season surcharges, and fuel costs.

Pokémon Center's Exclusive Eevee Evolutions Figures
On January 16, 2025, The Pokémon Company launched a Pokémon Center exclusive: figures showcasing Eevee's evolutions. The Pokémon Center online store offers a wide selection of Pokémon merchandise.
The first three figures in the "Evolving Personalities Figure" line are Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon, with the remaining Eeveelutions to be released in groups of three throughout the year. Each Pokémon has a unique personality: Jolteon is skillful, Flareon is content, and Vaporeon is playful. Further Eeveelutions will also be given distinct personality traits.
