In gaming PCs, the 990 Evo Plus supports HMB (Host Memory Buffer), which compensates for the lack of DRAM by utilizing a small portion of system RAM—something most users won’t even notice.
It's worth noting that the Samsung 990 Evo Plus does not come with a preinstalled heatsink. However, thanks to its newer single-sided design and improved power efficiency, it generates less heat compared to older models.
