Sanctum Sanctorum Map Unveiled in Marvel Rivals Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Unveils the Mystical Sanctum Sanctorum Map

Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, introduces a thrilling new map: the Sanctum Sanctorum! This iconic location will host the game's newest mode, Doom Match, a chaotic free-for-all battle for 8-12 players where the top half emerges victorious.

This isn't the only new addition; Midtown and Central Park are also joining the roster. Midtown will be the backdrop for a new convoy mission, while Central Park's debut is slated for a mid-season update.

The Sanctum Sanctorum itself is a visual feast, blending opulent decor with surreal elements. A recent video showcased floating kitchenware, a bizarre refrigerator creature, winding staircases, levitating bookshelves, and powerful artifacts – all within Doctor Strange's surprisingly quirky home (complete with a cheerful portrait!). The trailer even offers a first look at Wong and Doctor Strange's spectral canine companion, Bats.

The Season's Story: Dracula's Shadow

This season's narrative centers around Dracula, who serves as the primary antagonist. The Fantastic Four rise to the challenge, with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman arriving at launch, followed by Human Torch and The Thing in a later update. The Sanctum Sanctorum, though a battleground, showcases meticulous detail, hinting at the Sorcerer Supreme's usual activities before Dracula's intervention.

A Season of Excitement

With the addition of new maps, game modes, and beloved characters like Wong, Season 1 promises a significant expansion for Marvel Rivals. The blend of intense combat and whimsical details promises a unique and engaging experience for players.
