The narrative then propels Misuzu into the future, to the year 2050, where she meets her own daughter, Tsumugi, who is also 16. Accompanying them is Hiruko, a boy who identifies as Yoko's miscarried son and Misuzu's unborn brother. Together, they must navigate the Eternal Realm, a stunning domain of the gods, to perform the Seedsow Ceremony and restore balance to their world.
