Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event showcasing the exciting 25th-anniversary celebration for The Sims franchise. The stream unveiled a range of free gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already commenced with a new update. This update addresses several bugs, boasts a revamped main menu, and includes performance optimizations. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a stylish makeover. These updated homes are immediately available for new game starts, while existing saves can access them via the in-game library.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 free items! Simultaneously, the "Blast from the Past" in-game event launches. Players can unlock retro-themed items and a complete new set by completing a series of easy challenges.
Further enhancing the celebration, a new season called "Motherlode" starts February 6th in The Sims 4. Details regarding the "Motherlode" season's content are currently being kept under wraps, adding an element of surprise.
