Ubisoft's new Animus Hub, a central control center for the Assassin's Creed franchise, promises streamlined access to the series' extensive library. Launching alongside Assassin's Creed Shadows, the Hub acts as a central launchpad for games like Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and the upcoming Hexe.
This approach mirrors the strategies used by Battlefield and Call of Duty. Through Animus Hub, players can seamlessly jump between various Assassin's Creed titles. The Hub also introduces unique "Anomalies"—special missions within Assassin's Creed Shadows—that reward players with cosmetic items or in-game currency for acquiring outfits and weapons.
Beyond game launching, Animus Hub provides access to supplementary content. Players can delve into journals, notes, and other materials from the Assassin's Creed modern-day storyline, enriching their understanding of the overarching narrative and interconnections within the franchise.
Assassin's Creed Shadows itself transports players to feudal Japan, immersing them in the political machinations and conflicts of the samurai era. The game is set to release on March 20, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
