New Pokémon Sleep Companions: Sneasel and Weavile!
Pokémon Sleep players can now add Sneasel and Weavile to their teams! This guide details how to befriend these icy newcomers.
Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile
As Ice/Dark-type Pokémon (though only Dark-type in Pokémon Sleep), Sneasel and Weavile primarily appear in Snowdrop Tundra. However, they're also available on Greengrass Isle, making them accessible to all players regardless of research location. Use an EZ Travel Ticket to switch islands if needed.
Sleep Types
Both Sneasel and Weavile possess the Dozing sleep type. Increasing your chances of a Dozing sleep will significantly improve your odds of encountering them in Snowdrop Tundra or Greengrass Isle. Sneasel is easier to find initially, evolving into Weavile with 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, you'll still need to find Weavile in the wild for Sleep Research data.
Are They Good Additions?
Sneasel's value lies primarily in its Wiki Berry gathering ability, making it a strong asset for Snowdrop Tundra. It also provides an "Extra Tasty" boost to dishes. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, so a well-equipped Sneasel is a valuable team member.
