Get ready for a cosmic journey with LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars, launching later this month. This update promises a thrilling adventure through the Dual Nova galaxy, featuring the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star, transforming everything from the menus to the battlefield itself.
Three new champions are set to join the battle, each bringing unique abilities to shake up the meta. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes powerful area of effect (AoE) damage and can strategically reposition his team with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, excels in sowing chaos, using Paranoia to shroud foes in darkness. Lastly, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time itself, slowing enemies and even bringing allies back to life with Chronoshift.
Alongside these new additions, several champions are getting significant reworks. Garen’s Courage ability will now scale over time, bolstering his tankiness, while his Judgment will carve through enemy armor more effectively. Ambessa transitions from the jungle to the Baron lane, with her damage and life steal adjusted to suit her new role. Smaller tweaks are also coming for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista, ensuring a fresh experience for fans of these champions.
Beyond champion updates, the Bandle-inspired Rift introduces a whimsical twist to non-Ranked modes, with Enchanted Gifts emerging from portals during the laning phase. Mages, in particular, will benefit from new item updates, including the Bandle Fantasy item that adds extra burst damage, Hextech GLP800 with its frost bomb slows, and Malignance, which amplifies ultimate abilities to make spellcasters even more formidable.
Ranked mode is also getting a facelift with the start of a new season coinciding with the Challenger’s Star launch. Look forward to an updated Ranked store and streamlined ways to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star will unlock, introducing AAAARAM, an innovative spin on ARAM with galactic visuals and new augments. The Wild Pass will delight players with two stunning skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate, debuting a new skinline, and Battlecast Nasus.
LoL: Wild Rift version 6.1 patch is scheduled for release on April 16th. For more detailed information, be sure to visit the official website.
