Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2: A Fresh Batch of Titles
Get ready for a thrilling lineup of games hitting Xbox Game Pass in January 2025's second wave! Microsoft's Xbox Wire announcement precedes their January 23rd Xbox Developer Direct, promising several day-one Game Pass releases, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a yet-to-be-revealed title.
The wave begins January 21st with Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), a day-one release on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Master the mountain in this snowy sequel, featuring up to eight-player cross-platform multiplayer.
January 22nd brings a flurry of additions:
- Flock (Console) joins Game Pass Standard, offering multiplayer co-op flight and creature collection.
