The much-anticipated v8.1 update for Honkai Impact 3rd, titled "Drumming in New Resolutions," is set to launch on February 20th, bringing with it a host of exciting new features, battlesuits, outfits, and anniversary rewards that players won't want to miss.
What's New in Honkai Impact 3rd v8.1?
Kiana makes a fiery return with her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star. This battlesuit is designed to dominate the battlefield with its long staff, unleashing a 4-sequence attack that inflicts Fire DMG and accumulates Passion Marks for devastating AOE damage. Enhance Kiana's prowess further with the recommended weapon and PRI-ARM, ensuring your enemies feel the full brunt of her fiery assault. Additionally, the Herrscher of Human: Ego receives a boost with new gear, including a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and a matching stigmata set.
On the story front, v8.1 delves deeper into Leylah's narrative. Following the dramatic events of the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana is back in the real world, joining forces with Rice Cake on a new mission assigned by Theresa. This adventure leads them to the Moon Base for a festive celebration. By playing through the interlude, players can earn Crystals, Source Prisms, and other valuable rewards.
The update also introduces an engaging board feature where players can activate and collect Yearly Chibis to assemble their team. Additionally, accumulating shop tokens allows you to exchange them for Crystals, Coralie's new outfit, and a variety of other rewards.

New Outfits and Anniversary Rewards
In addition to Kiana's new battlesuit, other characters are getting stylish updates. Coralie, Luna, and Vita are all receiving new looks. Luna's outfit is available through spend bonuses, while Vita's new attire can be found in the Outfit Supply.
The anniversary celebrations bring a slew of rewards for players. Simply logging in daily for seven days after the update will earn you a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Continue your login streak for another seven days to claim Kiana's Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human's new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards.
From February 25th to March 4th, daily logins will reward you with an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and additional goodies. As a special thank-you, every player will receive five Battlesuit Supply Cards upon the update's release.
