One More Level, renowned for the critically acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has unveiled a new project: Cyber Slash. This upcoming title marks a significant departure from the studio's cyberpunk roots, instead transporting players to an alternate, dark reimagining of the Napoleonic era in the first half of the 19th century.
The Ghostrunner games, known for their demanding blend of precise combat, agility, and quick reflexes, averaged impressive scores of 81% and 79% (first game) and 80% and 76% (sequel), respectively. While One More Level is also developing Project Swift, slated for a 2028 release, the newly revealed image strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash promises an epic, action-packed experience. Although parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses will remain core gameplay mechanics, the developers are moving away from the traditional Souls-like formula. A key innovation will be the protagonist's evolution through mutations throughout the game, adding a new layer of strategic depth.
