Bagley revealed that the game was essentially complete when Tony Hawk himself reached out to Activision, insisting that Margera be included. Despite being initially told it was impossible, Hawk's determination prevailed, showcasing his commitment to bringing back a beloved figure in the skateboarding community. He was also dismissed from the Jackass Forever project and faced a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is slated for release on July 11, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
