What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
"Haikyu!!" is an animated series based on the youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate. Originally serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012, the story is set in the world of high school volleyball.
Karasuno High School, once dubbed the "Fallen powerhouse, flightless crow," aims to reclaim its former glory and reach the top. The series follows the passionate journey of Shoyo Hinata, a volleyball enthusiast, alongside a cast of unique and compelling characters.
In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical sequel to the anime would be produced.
