Xbox Developer Direct 2025: January 23rd Showcase Announced
Microsoft has officially announced the next Xbox Developer Direct, scheduled for January 23rd, marking the first Xbox games showcase of 2025. This will be the third annual Xbox Developer Direct event, following successful showcases in January 2023 and 2024.
The event, starting at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch. This announcement follows earlier rumors circulating around a January 9th reveal.

While release dates for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and South of Midnight remain unconfirmed, the January 23rd showcase may finally provide answers. Doom: The Dark Ages, initially revealed in June 2024, is currently rumored for a mid-2025 release.
Previous Developer Directs have exceeded 40 minutes, featuring multiple game reveals. Given this precedent, the 2025 event is likely to include additional unannounced titles beyond the three confirmed games. Past showcases have included titles like Avowed, Ara: History Untold, and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. Expect some exciting surprises!
