Application Description

The Guardians of the Road project has been relaunched with a significantly improved app, offering a more convenient and user-friendly experience. Join the Road Guard project and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road – the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and deter unsafe driving practices. As of January 1, 2023, the project is managed by the Safe Path association.

Citizens aged 18 and over can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations. Using the app is quick and simple: activate it before driving, and when you witness a violation, engage the reporting feature. This can be done via voice command or by pressing a Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then record the incident and its details.

These reports are sent to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer controllers. After review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the driver, including a link to the recorded video. In cases involving life-threatening violations, the report is forwarded to the police.
