Marvel Rivals welcomes a surprise crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

PlayStation announced the exciting news via X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' adaptation of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. This sleek Spider-Man suit, originally designed by Insomniac Games for Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three installments of the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol makes it instantly recognizable. This collaboration between Sony and NetEase marks a surprising partnership, bringing a console-exclusive superhero suit to a mobile game.

Marvel Rivals partners with Sony's Spider-Man franchise.

The Advanced Suit 2.0 is a unique addition to Marvel Rivals' already impressive roster of unlockable suits. Its connection to the popular PlayStation series is amplified by the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and lends his voice to the Marvel Rivals version. Players acquiring the suit on January 30th will find the experience familiar and authentic.

The addition of the Advanced Suit 2.0 provides more exciting content alongside the Season 1: Eternal Night Falls launch. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every six weeks, ensuring a steady stream of updates.

While anticipating the Advanced Suit 2.0, explore player-created custom skins, the Season 1 balance changes, and the intriguing Invisible Woman bot detection strategy.
