We handle everything else—charging the e-scooters to ensure they're always ready for you. Each moped comes equipped with two helmets in different sizes and a mobile phone holder, ensuring your ride is comfortable and convenient.
Setting up your emmy account is a breeze:
Download the emmy app and register for a one-time fee of €4.95, which includes 15 free minutes of riding.
Sign up and verify your EU driver's license: Once your account is approved, you're ready to ride our electric mopeds.
Ride: Use the app to find and reserve an electric moped near you—it's free!
End your rental: Park your emmy moped in a public parking lot within our business area to conclude your rental.
How to start your emmy electric moped:
Open the helmet box: Press the red button and take a helmet from the box.
Remove it from the kickstand: Position yourself with the moped between your legs and push the handlebars forward.
Turn the red switch to “ON”: Ensure the red switch on the right handlebar is flipped to ON and the side stand is fully folded. If you're riding a Yadea, press the “P-button”.
Start the engine: Pull the moped brake and press the “Down” switch on the left handlebar simultaneously.

In Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden, you can ride the NIU scooter, designed for efficient city commuting. The Yadea moped is available in Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich.
For parking, choose designated moped and bike areas on the street. Avoid parking in bike lanes, bus lanes, or pedestrian walkways.
How much does it cost to rent an emmy moped?
Start with a one-time registration fee of €4.95, which includes 15 free minutes for your first trip (valid for 3 months). Booking and reserving a moped is free for 15 minutes. Unlocking costs €1, and you'll be charged €0.33 per minute while riding. You can pause your ride at a reduced rate.
