Where to begin? Global pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter recently transformed Fortnite into a virtual peace rally, and she's somehow already followed that up by announcing a brand new album, which is now available for preorder.

Sabrina Carpenter
Man's Best Friend [Translucent Light Brown LP] [Amazon Exclusive]
Release Date: August 29, 2025. $32.99 at Amazon
She debuted in Fortnite this past April as the Season 8 Icon for Fortnite Festival, immediately disrupting the battle royale with Jam Tracks like "Juno" and "Nonsense," alongside a character skin that had players dropping their weapons just to enjoy the moment. The event included a full suite of cosmetics, a themed outfit, and a "A Sweet Little Bundle"—because why not?
Her upcoming album, "Man's Best Friend," arrives on August 29, hot on the heels of the worldwide success of "Short n' Sweet." Preorders are already open at all major retailers, including Amazon and Walmart. Amazon is offering an exclusive Translucent Light Brown Vinyl LP for $33, a Light Blue Cassette for $18, and an Audio CD for $14—a clear sign that physical media is making a serious comeback, and frankly, it's long overdue.

Man's Best Friend [Light Blue Cassette]
Release Date: August 29, 2025. $17.99 at Amazon
With her new album up for grabs, Sabrina seems poised to transition from virtual peacekeeper to real-world chart-topper once again this year (in my humble opinion, at least).
Beyond the pop star's April 2025 debut, Epic Games continues experimenting with new ways to keep players engaged in Fortnite, from superhero-themed seasons and a peculiar, ammo-less Star Wars mode to the recent Blitz Royale test.
Player counts have dipped since last year's peak, which featured chaotic Squid Game maps, a Doctor Doom boss battle, Times Square concerts, and a massive in-game event starring Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and Juice Wrld. However, there are signs of momentum returning.
It remains to be seen whether any of this will help Fortnite regain traction from popular Roblox experiences like "Grow a Garden." But if featuring Sabrina Carpenter gave the game a boost? Epic will happily ride that wave a while longer.
