How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
After numerous trials and errors, we've finally unlocked **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. While these stages don't require extensive exploration or high gaming skills, they do demand **extensive Reputation grinding**—and we're talking about a lot!
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To kick things off, you'll need to gather **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and find **Damiro D. Mado** on the second floor. He'll give you the quest to collect **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to obtain these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, as shown below, and then crafting them at a crafting station. To check your Reputation, speak with **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have **all 20 fragments**, convert them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting station. Return to **Damiro**, who will then direct you to speak with "him". This caused quite a stir in the *GHOUL://RE* community as no one knew who "he" was. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
To unlock **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must switch to **permadeath** (PD) mode to obtain the legendary armor. It's wise to team up with reliable and strong players since solo missions can be challenging.
After accumulating **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and make your way to **the Laboratory**. There, you'll find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel in a black suit by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage two and secure the **Arata-Proto armor**. Despite rumors suggesting you might only need 75,000 or between 90,000 and 100,000 Reputation points, our experience confirms that **100,000 Reputation points** are necessary for guaranteed success.
Remember, you must play Arata stages 2 and 3 on **PD servers**. Failing to do so will result in a repeated response from Black Reaper, preventing you from completing Arata Stage 2 and accessing Stage 3.
Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE
The final stage also involves "The Scalpel Guy", specific fragments, and a significant amount of cash. Again, ensure you're in **PD mode** to continue your quest for the epic armor.
Once you have a **single one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and have saved **500,000 Yen**, return to **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** in the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to face the **Kishou Arima boss**.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires at least average gaming skills, involving plenty of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing damage from above. While challenging, with practice, even players with moderate skills can triumph. Be prepared for multiple attempts, as death is common, and each retry will cost an **additional one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and another **500,000 Yen**.
Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, be cautious; while Arata armor provides remarkable buffs and protection, it also drains your hunger at an alarming rate and prevents you from eating while equipped.

**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**
Arata armor is incredibly powerful, but it **drains your hunger** rapidly and prevents you from eating while worn. You'll need to remove it to replenish your hunger levels. However, the benefits are substantial: you **can't be ragdolled** while wearing Arata, which is a significant advantage in all game scenarios.

Additionally, Arata armor makes your character increasingly "tanky", capable of withstanding and dealing massive damage. Be mindful, though, as if the armor depletes your hunger bar during combat, it will start consuming your **health bar**. It's crucial to remove the armor if it becomes too risky and heal up, especially during boss fights.
**Reputation Grinding**
The fastest way to accumulate the required Reputation is by defeating bosses in **PD mode**. Although risky, each boss defeated in PD mode awards **1,500 Reputation**, far more than the **500** you get outside PD mode. Killing Ghouls, however, only yields **100 Reputation** per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during Arata quests.
