High-quality outfits in Infinity Nikki demand top-tier crafting materials, plentiful throughout Miraland. Nikki and Momo's adventures consistently provide charming and useful items, captivating players since the game's December 2024 launch. However, some materials prove more elusive.
Beretsant Feathers are a frequently used crafting component, but their acquisition requires specific knowledge.
How to Acquire Beretsant Feathers in Infinity Nikki
Beretsant Feathers aren't exceptionally rare but are exclusively found in Stoneville and the Abandoned District in Wishfield. Access to these areas is unlocked upon reaching Chapter 3 of the main storyline. Stoneville, however, offers an abundance of these feathers.
The source of these feathers is the Beretsant, a distinctive bird resembling a cartoon rooster.
These grey and black birds, identifiable by their red beret-shaped crests, are commonly found near Stoneville homes and gardens, often in small flocks. Their movements are noisy, making them easily spotted.
To collect feathers, equip the Bye Bye Dust ability (or a suitable alternative) from the ability wheel. Approach a Beretsant; they are docile. Once a blue brush icon appears, groom the bird to receive one Beretsant Feather and Grooming Insight.
Unlocking relevant nodes on the Heart of Infinity Grid for Stoneville yields Beretsant Feather Essence, another valuable crafting item. Another node provides bonus Grooming Insight for Stoneville.
These nodes are located on the north side of the grid (as shown). Beretsant Feather Essence requires 7,000 Grooming Insight; the bonus Insight node requires 25,000. The Realm of Nourishment at any Warp Spire allows Vital Energy usage to significantly boost Grooming Insight, accelerating this process.
For efficient feather gathering, utilize the map's tracking feature. Access the Collections menu (book icon in the bottom-left corner) and select the pawprint tab. Locate the Beretsant Feather option; the nearest Beretsant will be marked on your map (orange circle). Gathering feathers from one location reveals the next. Collecting 50 Beretsant Feathers unlocks Precise Tracking, displaying all Wishfield Beretsants.
While potentially time-consuming, Precise Tracking simplifies locating rare materials like Crown Fluff throughout Wishfield.
