Exciting news for fans of the original: Crashlands 2 is now available on Android and other platforms! Developed by Butterscotch Shenanigans, this eagerly anticipated sequel follows the success of the 2016 original, which captivated millions of players worldwide.
What's Different in Crashlands 2?
In Crashlands 2, you reprise your role as the space-trucker Flux Dabes, the same disgruntled shipping representative from the first game. After years of working for the Bureau of Shipping, Flux returns to the planet Woanope for some much-needed rest and relaxation. However, upon landing, an unexpected explosion strands Flux in a new area, far from familiar faces, equipped with only a few gadgets and their quirky instincts to survive.
This time around, Woanope feels more vibrant and alive. Players will encounter a variety of creatures and explore strange biomes filled with random encounters and unique opportunities, such as luring a Trunkle into a booby-trapped field. All characters, except for Flux, are either aliens or robots, and the game is packed with humorous, pun-filled item names, amplifying the humor from its predecessor.
Combat in Crashlands 2 has been upgraded, and base-building now offers more detailed options, including tall walls, legitimate roofs, and cozy corners for crafting and farming. Building friendships with the aliens unlocks new recipes and skills, making the friendship mechanic crucial to your journey. Additionally, players can now raise pets by finding and hatching eggs, nurturing them, and having them fight alongside you.
A Sci-Fi Survival with Unhinged Alien Adventures
As you delve deeper into Crashlands 2, it becomes clear that the orbital mishap was no mere accident. A larger mystery unfolds as you explore the world and interact with its inhabitants, piecing together the puzzle of what's really going on and who might be behind it.
