All characters, except for Flux, are either aliens or robots, and the game is packed with humorous, pun-filled item names, amplifying the humor from its predecessor.
Combat in Crashlands 2 has been upgraded, and base-building now offers more detailed options, including tall walls, legitimate roofs, and cozy corners for crafting and farming. Building friendships with the aliens unlocks new recipes and skills, making the friendship mechanic crucial to your journey. Additionally, players can now raise pets by finding and hatching eggs, nurturing them, and having them fight alongside you.
