Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, begins its soft launch in Canada next month. However, a global launch is planned for the first half of the year, bringing the thrilling extraction shooter/dungeon crawler experience to a wider audience.
Players, solo or in parties, will navigate a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to secure valuable loot. The game features a diverse roster of character classes, including fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards, each with unique abilities and playstyles.
Following the success of the PC version, Krafton secured the rights to develop the mobile adaptation. Significant improvements are underway, focusing on enhancing various aspects of the game.
Enhancements on the Horizon
Key updates include revisions to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, along with structural dungeon overhauls to optimize party gameplay. Class distinctions will be sharpened through enhanced basic attacks and combat mechanics, and a broader selection of weapons and skills is also planned.
