Eko Software and NACON have thrilled fans by launching a demo and unveiling a detailed roadmap for the early access journey of their action-packed RPG, *Dragonkin: The Banished*. The early access version, set to launch on March 6, 2025, will feature the prologue and the first chapter, allowing players to dive into the game's narrative through three distinct heroes: the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian. Players will also have the company of four Vermplings, cooperative companions that fight alongside them, enhancing the combat experience. The game introduces the innovative Bloodline Grid skill progression system, endgame hunting quests, and the initial upgrades for the central hub city. The demo is currently available and will run until March 3, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest.
The development team has ambitious plans for the coming year. Spring updates are set to bring new abilities, enriched endgame content, a novel endgame activity, and enhanced features for the hub city. Summer updates will introduce a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. By autumn, *Dragonkin: The Banished* will integrate multiplayer support, alongside continuous improvements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city mechanics.
