Hades 2 Early Access First Anniversary
Nearing Its Full Release
As shared in their latest X (formerly Twitter) post, Hades 2 has been in early access for a full year now. Developer Supergiant Games celebrated this milestone by expressing gratitude to their fans and hinting at an approaching full release.
Their message stated, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"
The original Hades followed a similar early access route, taking 22 months to reach its full release. However, Supergiant Games aims to bring Hades 2 to its full version sooner, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Launching First on the Nintendo Switch 2
In a recent episode of Nintendo’s Creator’s Voice series, Supergiant Games announced that Hades 2 will debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the Switch 2 set to launch on June 5, fans can anticipate Hades 2's release around the same time.
Hades 2 continues the legacy of its predecessor, a beloved rogue-like game with divine themes. This marks the first sequel Supergiant Games has ever developed, a process they approach with "a great deal of fear and respect."
Currently available in early access, Hades 2 is slated for a debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Nintendo Switch, with a subsequent release planned for PC. Stay tuned for more updates by checking out our related articles below!
