Pokémon GO's Beloved Buddies event: Double XP, Shiny Pokémon, and Dhelmise Debut!
Get ready for a heartwarming event in Pokémon GO! The Beloved Buddies event strengthens your bond with your Pokémon and features exciting debuts, bonuses, and raids.
Event Dates: February 11th - February 15th
Dhelmise Debuts: This Sea Creeper Pokémon makes its first appearance in Pokémon GO, ready for you to catch and battle in raids.
Double XP and Extended Lures: Catching Pokémon yields double XP, and Lure Modules last a full hour, attracting Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching these Pokémon also grants an extra 500 Stardust.
Increased Shiny Rates: Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce will appear more frequently. Other boosted wild Pokémon include Nidoran, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.
Raid Battles: A variety of raid challenges await:
- One-Star Raids: Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp (increased shiny rate for Skrelp).
- Three-Star Raids: Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise.
- Five-Star Raids: Enamorus (Incarnate Forme).
- Mega Raids: Mega Tyranitar.
