Back in January, Bluepoch Games announced an exciting collaboration that has now been fleshed out with more details. The Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover is set to bring Ezio as a playable character, and fans are buzzing with anticipation. In partnership with Ubisoft, this crossover will delve into two beloved entries of the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released in January showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo glowing in the distance.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The full plan for the crossover is now available, and it’s set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond featuring Ezio Auditore da Firenze, there are plenty of exciting elements to look forward to in the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration.
The crossover event is divided into two distinct phases, each offering unique Assassin’s Creed-themed stories and events. Phase I takes players back to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her crew will navigate 15th-century Italy, chasing cryptic clues. Phase II then transports everyone to the ancient world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, immersing players in familiar events from the game as Vertin and her team get entangled in the action.

This update marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all servers worldwide are synchronized. This means everyone will have access to the event content simultaneously, ensuring a unified experience for players everywhere.
Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. You take on the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm. Following these storms, entire eras seem to vanish. Vertin, accompanied by her partner Sonetto, journeys through different time periods to rescue other arcanists sensitive to these temporal shifts.
