Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!
Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is getting a major update – Rogue Frontier – on February 3rd! This first big update of the year introduces exciting new features.
Outlands Adventures
Rogue Frontier focuses on the Smugglers, rebels defying the Royal Continent's rules and establishing themselves in the Outlands. They operate from hidden underground bases: Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as central hubs for banking, repairs, and expedition planning, connected by a vast Smuggler's Network linking Outlands marketplaces.
Players can support the Smugglers in their ongoing conflict with the Royal Guards, participating in missions like rescuing captured Smugglers or delivering contraband.
Rewards for Loyalty
Show your allegiance to the Smugglers and be rewarded by Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens. Rewards include a Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (with a potion cooldown reduction ability), a Smuggler's Ring, and an Avatar.
New additions in Rogue Frontier include Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The better the defeated player's loot, the higher the chance of obtaining a trophy.
Stylish New Weapons
Rogue Frontier also introduces three new weapons:
- Rotcaller Staff: Summons a mist that repels enemies.
- Skystrider Bow: Allows levitation and ranged attacks from above.
- Forcepulse Bracers: Unleashes shockwaves during dashes.
