Wuthering Waves has rolled out its much-anticipated Version 2.3 update, aptly titled "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer," which marks the game's first anniversary and its exciting launch on Steam, now accessible on PC. This update is structured in four engaging phases, starting on April 29th and extending through to June 12th, 2025, offering a rich array of content for players to explore over the next month or so, provided they have a suitable Union Level.
What's New in Wuthering Waves Version 2.3: Fiery Arpeggio of Summer?
The update introduces captivating new story arcs, such as "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither," alongside a fresh lineup of Phantom Echoes including Crownless (and its Nightmare variant), Nimbus Wraith, and the intriguing Chest Mimic. Players can also look forward to a series of celebratory events:
- Gifts of Grand Celebration (May 23rd to June 11th): Log in to claim Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance if you're at Union Level 8.
- Gifts of Grand Reunion (April 29th to June 11th): Rewards include Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and various upgrade materials.
- Gifts of Melodic Verses (June 5th to June 19th): Similar rewards to keep the celebration going.

New and Returning Minigames
The beloved Cubie Derby makes a comeback, serving as both a warm-up leisure activity and a spectator event where you can root for your favorite Cubes. Engage in dice-rolling action on a board to win rewards such as Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.
Resonators and Weapons in the First Phase
During the first phase, which lasts until June 11th, players have the opportunity to pull for Resonators like Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with powerful weapons such as Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage.
