Wuthering Waves Version 2.0, launching January 2nd, 2025, introduces the vibrant nation of Rinascita, alongside exciting new characters, gameplay features, and game modes. This update marks the game's PlayStation 5 debut.
The new region, Rinascita—the Land of Echoes—is an archipelago of independent city-states, recently re-established contact with the rest of Solaris-3 after a period of isolation. The Carnevale, a Ragunna city celebration, kicks off the Rinascita storyline.
A recently released trailer showcases Rinascita's diverse landscapes and introduces novel exploration mechanics via new Echoes. The Gondola Echo allows waterway navigation, while the Wingray Echo offers high-speed aerial traversal, surpassing standard gliding capabilities. Version 2.0 also expands gameplay with additions like Flight Challenges and Dream Patrols, offering unique challenges and valuable rewards.
