Boxville Debuts Rabbit's Hop Demo for Puzzle Game Boxville Studios has officially unveiled the first playable demo for their upcoming puzzle-adventure title, Rabbit's Hop, promising a charming, brain-teasing experience that blends whimsical art, clever mechanics, and a touch of woodland magic. Set in a vibrant, hand-drawn forest world where gravity shifts with every hop, Rabbit's Hop follows the journey of Pip, a spirited young rabbit with a unique ability: she can reverse gravity by hopping in mid-air. This power allows her to scale trees, traverse floating platforms, and rearrange the environment to solve intricate puzzles. The demo, now available on Steam and itch.io, showcases the game’s core mechanics and early levels. Players guide Pip through lush meadows, ancient tree groves, and mysterious crystal caves, using timing, spatial reasoning, and environmental awareness to progress. The demo features over 10 levels, three distinct biomes, and a soothing acoustic soundtrack composed by indie artist Lila Moon. “We wanted to create a puzzle game that feels fresh but still honors classic platformers,” said Eli Turner, Creative Director at Boxville Studios. “Rabbit’s Hop isn’t just about jumping—it’s about thinking, timing, and discovering new ways to interact with the world. We’re excited for players to see how gravity, rhythm, and charm come together in a single hop.” The demo has already received positive early feedback for its tight controls, art style reminiscent of Journey meets The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and surprisingly deep puzzle design for a short experience. Boxville Studios plans to release Rabbit’s Hop in full on PC (Steam, macOS, Linux) and consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch) in Q2 2025. A limited-time demo will remain available until the game’s launch, with a seasonal collector’s edition also in development.
