BASE is an innovative app designed to enhance learning in schools by integrating the excitement of football into the educational process. This unique tool serves as a valuable partner for teachers, revolutionizing classroom dynamics and making learning an engaging experience through play. The app's primary goal is to enable children to absorb the same educational content they would in traditional settings, but in a fun and interactive way.
The first phase of the BASE app introduces a gamified structure, mimicking sports tournaments and dividing the game into three distinct seasons. Each season comprises four competitive levels: Regional, National, Continental, and World, along with a Pre-Season. These tournaments vary in the number and difficulty of questions, which are cleverly termed as 'matches.' The game's design incorporates elements such as coins, points, and trophies to sustain and heighten children's interest and motivation.
Developed collaboratively by the Vini.Jr Institute team and the faculty of the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School, the content within BASE adheres to the standards set by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). Initially, BASE's educational technology targets the early years of Elementary School, specifically students from 1st to 5th grade, aged 6 to 10. By leveraging the universal appeal of sport and the accessibility of technology, BASE aims to captivate young learners and facilitate their educational journey.
