In a groundbreaking move, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2) introduces a feature designed to assist players who might find boss battles challenging. During the April 14 episode of the Koji Pro radio broadcast, DS2 Director Hideo Kojima unveiled that players will have the option to bypass boss fights.
Kojima detailed that upon failing a boss fight, players can choose to "continue" from the game over screen. This choice will allow them to skip the combat and proceed with the narrative. Instead of fighting, the game will present a visual novel-like sequence, featuring images and text that describe the battle. This innovative approach ensures that all players can experience the story's depth without the pressure of combat.
Death Stranding 2 Around 95% Complete
Hideo Kojima recently announced that Death Stranding 2 is approximately 95% complete. He likened the development stage to "10 o'clock (PM)" on a 24-hour clock, indicating that only about two hours of work remain before the game's completion.
