As a challenging "Soulslike" title, Lies of P presents formidable obstacles, particularly for newcomers drawn to its Gothic narrative. Director Jiwon Choi initially maintained that Soulslikes shouldn't feature difficulty options, launching the base game with a singular, brutal experience. However, the studio subsequently reconsidered: "We wanted to ensure broader accessibility for players," Choi explained.
For purists tackling Overture on its default Legendary Stalker setting, the challenge appears more punishing than ever.
