Game Introduction

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an enthralling real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that immerses players in fierce player-versus-player (PvP) combat. In WOE, one player initiates a match, and others can join in to engage in strategic battles. The game offers a high degree of control over all types of units and buildings, allowing players to tailor their strategies and tactics freely.

Main Elements:

WOE meticulously recreates the essence of 18 powerful medieval Empires or civilizations, ranging from China and Japan to Persia, the Teutonic Order, Mongolia, the Goths, and the Maya. Each Empire boasts 8 types of regular units and 1 unique unit, which adds distinct flavor and strategic depth. For instance, Mongolia features Riders, Persia has War Elephants, and Spain boasts Conquistadors.

The regular units across all Empires include:

  1. Swordsman: A versatile and common unit.
  2. Pikeman: Effective against Cavalry but susceptible to arrows.
  3. Archers: Strong against Pikemen but vulnerable to Cavalry.
  4. Light Cavalry: Known for fast movement and high mobility, perfect for harassing foes.
  5. Aries: Specialized for attacking buildings.

Buildings in WOE include Towers, Turrets, Castles, and Blacksmith Shops among others. Towers, for example, serve an offensive role and can fire 6 arrows simultaneously when manned by 5 farmers. Turrets, on the other hand, are designed primarily for demolishing enemy structures.

Each Empire in WOE has unique strengths and weaknesses. For instance, the Huns don't need to construct houses, saving valuable time, and their Cavalry is more resource-efficient and upgradable to Rangers. The Teutonic warriors are incredibly powerful but slow-moving, reminiscent of historical Spartan warriors.

Highlights:

The core gameplay in WOE revolves around juggling multiple objectives simultaneously:

  1. Develop Economy: Continuously produce farmers and gather resources, using Town Centers (TCs) and Towers as temporary shelters.
  2. Harass Enemies: Early in the match, train small units to disrupt enemy resource collection and gain an advantage.
  3. Destroy Enemies: Coordinate with allies to form legions, protect weaker units with high damage output, and strategically defeat numerically superior forces.

Understanding unit counters and fostering teamwork are crucial. For instance, Pikemen counter Cavalry, Cavalry counter Archers, and Archers counter Pikemen. Unique units like the Slave (riding a camel) and the Koryo Carriage also play pivotal roles in countering specific enemy units.

Game Modes:

In WOE, players manage two key resources: Food and Gold. As the game progresses, TCs can be upgraded through various eras, from the dark ages to the feudal, castle, and emperor eras, unlocking advanced technologies, buildings, and units. The game offers several modes, with the Normal Mode and Imperial Deathmatch Mode being the most popular:

  1. Normal Mode: Features limited resources, requiring players to prioritize development while using small units to harass opponents early on. It's complex yet highly engaging.
  2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Starts players in the emperor era with abundant resources, enabling immediate and intense battles.

Main Features:

Having been in operation for 4 years in China and now at version 1.8.n, WOE has undergone numerous updates to enhance gameplay. Key features include Player vs. CPU battles, Network Play, Spectator mode, Replay function, Map Making, Legion formation, Friend lists, and Chat capabilities. These features ensure a dynamic and engaging experience for all players.
